The following terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Cyprus Republic, and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Cypriot courts unless otherwise specifically noted. By booking through Hungair Travel and www.hungair.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. It must be understood that those booking by email, telephone, or online accept the booking terms and conditions. The English language shall be the official language of all correspondence and arbitration between Hungair Travel and its customers.

Hungair Travel Ltd. is based at 5 Deligiorgi Street, 1644 Nicosia, Cyprus with company registration number 104015. and VAT registration No. is CY10104015O. It is registered by CTO as a Travel Agent. It is also a member of ACTA and of the CCCI.
RULES
The following general terms and conditions apply, however regional circumstances and regulations, contractual obligations to suppliers, and matters relating to location, product type and supply logistics may cause these to be varied slightly for specific products, or specific destinations. These amendments and alterations are shown in the Terms And Conditions sections of each web site, and should be read in conjunction with the Terms And Conditions shown below.
- Travel arrangements and prices detailed on our web site are provided and coordinated by Hungair Travel. (Registered in Cyprus No. 104015)
- Hungair Travel has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information on our web site as at the time of compilation, however, as this information is supplied by the relevant accommodation & tour/cruise operators on our site, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained in their publications.
- Sales of services as contained on our website are made by Hungair Travel only as agent for the person, business or company providing the services. The standards of accommodation and other services chosen are based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class.
- Hungair Travel does not accept responsibility for any change in prices or variation of services as shown, and all services and prices are subject to change without notice.
- Hungair Travel does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those service providers in connections with your convention pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct control. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
- It is essential that you check with us, or your tour operator, for any changes or variations to the information shown on our web site. This will allow us to advise you of any such changes that we are aware of either before you book your holiday, or prior to your departure.
FLIGHT BOOKINGS
We work closely with the IAN for flight bookings and any flight bookings are made through the IAN network.

Issuance and delivery of tickets:
- Flight Bookings are issued with an electronic ticket, sent to the email address of the passenger. Passengers are requested to print and present the electronic ticket at airport departure.
Flight Cancellation/Change Policy:
- Flight Bookings are totally non-refundable or transferable. On special occasions if specific flights can be cancelled, passenger will be notified before purchase is completed.
Following the flight booking, passengers will receive a confirmation email with all the details about their flight and a link if they need to change the flight in the future. Flights can be changed by visiting the itinerary page.
If you want to cancel or change your air ticket, you should initially inform us by completing the itenerary page on our site. You can also contact us by phone or in person to request changes. Any ticket change or cancellation requested in such way will carry an extra services charge of €25 Euros, which is separate from any kind of fees or penalties imposed by the airline. A ticket may have different restrictions depending on the airline and the type of ticket (class). Usually for economic fares, only airport taxes can be refunded. However, in order to confirm the exact sum that will be refunded in any case of cancellation or modification, we will need to contact you airline. You may review the terms of the airline regarding the ticket cancellation or modification fees and restrictions, using the respective link on our web site. If the type of the ticket allows changes on the flight of return and you are abroad, you will have to communicate with the local office of the respective airline.
HOTEL BOOKINGS
We work closely with the IAN for hotel bookings and any hotel bookings are made through the IAN network.

Issuance and delivery of hotel vouchers:
Hotel vouchers are issued with an electronically, and are sent to the email address of the customer. Customers are requested to print and present the electronic voucher at the hotel.
Lowest Price Guarantee:
Special Internet Rate reservations booked through Hungair Travel are guaranteed to be the lowest rate you can find. If there is a lower rate available for the same dates and the same hotel, you must contact us prior to the property's cancellation deadline of your "Special Internet Rate" reservation. After verifying the lower rate, we will, at our choice, either match the lower rate or cancel the reservation without a cancellation fee. This guarantee only applies to rates indicated as "Special Internet Rates." It does not apply to special events such as Formula One events, Final Four, New Year's, Champion’s League or other major sporting events etc.
Conditions for claiming the Price Guarantee:
- Claimant must have already booked a prepaid reservation identified as a "Special Internet Rate"
- The completed Price Guarantee form must be submitted prior to the property's cancellation deadline.
- The lower rate must be available for booking with identical specifications of the original request (ex: same hotel, same date and same room type).
Following submission of the Price Guarantee form the claimant will be contacted within 24-hours with a decision on their claim. Any credit is issued directly to the credit card provided at the time of booking. The credit will usually appear on your statement within 7-10 business days.
Hotel Cancellation Policy:
We understand that sometimes plans fall through. We do not charge a change or cancel fee for Hotel Bookings. However, each property can impose different types of penalties to its customers and we are required to pass that on. Hotel cancellation information is clearly shown during hotel booking process under the ‘Cancellation Policy’ header.

After-sales Customer Care:
After submitting your reservation request, you will be provided with an email address to use to make inquires about your request. Our qualified and friendly agents are available to answer questions about your hotel, air and car reservations 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (including holidays).
TOUR BOOKINGS
Rates and Price Variations:We reserve the right to vary prices and rates in the event of changes in exchange rates or price rises made by wholesalers or other suppliers. If the cost of any service increases due to exchange rate fluctuations, price increases, tax changes or any other reason, you are required to pay the increase when notified by us or you may cancel the booking which may result in cancellation fees. We are not liable in any way if any increase occurs. Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular product at the time of quoting and these rates may change prior to the travel date. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.
Deposits for tours: Bookings of €1000 or less, or bookings travelling within 30 days will be required to pay the full amount at the time of confirmation. Bookings over €1000 or travelling more than 30 days out will be required to pay a deposit of €200 per room at the time of confirmation. The appropriate amount will automatically be debited to the credit card provided. Any booking not deposited with us by this time will automatically cancel without notification. Deposit conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary, these are listed on the individual page. We will advise you in writing of these conditions at the time of booking. Bookings over Christmas and New Years(Festive Season) require a non refundable deposit of between €300 & €500, and final payment 60 days prior, as this it non refundable under any circumstances travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Bookings made less than 30 days prior to travel: Bookings made within 30 days of travel must provide a credit card guarantee at the time of booking, if the booking is available exactly as requested full payment will automatically be taken.
Final Payment: Final payment is due 30 days prior to travel date. No vouchers will be issued until final payment is received in our offices. Final payment conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary, these are shown on the individual pages. We will advise you in writing of these conditions at the time of booking. Please note the final payment may vary from the original booking price or quote if the product is subject to exchange rate fluctuations or price rises by wholesalers or other suppliers.
Card Fees: Please note that a card fee of 3% may be applied automatically to credit card payment amounts.
Cheque payments: Will only be accepted for bookings traveling outside 35 days.
Payments made by cheque or direct deposit do not attract any fees.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
- Bookings cancelled inside 30 days - Non refundable
- Deposited bookings cancelled 30 or more days prior to travel - Deposit is non refundable
- Fully paid bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to travel - Deposit PLUS any fees levied by the supplier are non refundable
American Express refunds will be less 4% as American Express keep the credit card fee. All other card companies refund the fee.
Flight Cancellation Policy:
- Flight Bookings are totally non refundable or transferable
Cancellations must be in writing.
If a credit has been approved it is valid for 6 months from the date the cancellation was made.
Special Cancellation Conditions:Certain accommodation and tour products will apply additional cancellation charges. These cancellation conditions and costs are located under the pricing on the individual pages and will be clearly advised to you in writing at time of booking.
Amendment Fees:Any amendments made to non finalised bookings will incur a fee of €25 for each amendment made. Bookings that have been finalised and documentation issued will incur a fee of €50 per amendment. This is in addition to any fees that may be levied by the supplier.
Late Booking Fees:A late booking fee of €50.00 can be charged if booking is made within 72 hours prior to departure. This depends on the amount of administration work involved, and if applicable, you will be notified at time of reservation request from you or your agent.
Change Of Itinerary After Holiday Has Commenced:Any alteration or cancellation of services after your holiday has commenced can incur penalties. There is no refund for unused services.
Refunds:In order for a refund to be approved, you must have a claim number which is given at the time of reporting the cancellation or incident. No refunds will be made for services once travel arrangements have commenced. No guarantee is provided or warranted that any refund will be available. All refund requests must be in writing, and made direct to us or through the agent from whom the travel arrangements were purchased. Claims must be made within 15 days of completion of travel arrangements. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather or illness, these must be claimed through your travel Insurance.
Reporting of Incidents:Any abnormal incidents including injuries, service problems, cancellation of a service or dissatisfaction must be reported to Hungair Travel during the event to allow us an opportunity to rectify the situation or provide assistance.
GENERAL
Validity of Rates:Prices are valid for the dates indicated.
Currency:All rates are quoted in Euro, or as otherwise indicated.
VAT tax: All prices quoted on the website include VAT, unless otherwise specifically stated.
Children's Rates: Child costs are based on sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding . Cost for additional bedding and rollaways are available on request.
Payment Methods: Credit or Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Diners, American Express, Carte Si) can be used online for all purchases of flights of tickets. Hungair Travel offers a secure server for all the credit card payments. Alternatively, you can fax through your credit card details to us, send a cheque or make a direct deposit. Please contact us for more details.
Travel Insurance:It is extremely important that you take out Travel Insurance. It is ESSENTIAL that this insurance covers you for involuntary cancellation of your holiday including airfare(s).
Accommodation:Accommodation is as specified in the accommodation section of our web site. All costs are shown in Euro, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case the accommodation operator overbooks their property or for any reason beyond our control. All rates are subject to change without notice.
Check In / Check Out Times:These vary according to operator. Generally your accommodation check in is 2pm and check out 10am. Please note that most properties will require a credit card authorisation on check-in and may need to see photo identification. In the instance that you don’t have a credit card usually a cash bond will be required.
Single Supplement Costs:If not shown in your selected accommodation cost, this is available on application.
Accommodation Ratings:Are based on local governmental ratings.
Group And Incentive Travel:As group and conference rates are specially contracted rates specific for that particular group, they have different terms and conditions to standard holidays. If you are booking a group or incentive, please ensure that these conditions are explained to you.

Quotations:All quotations are subject to availability of services quoted and are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and deposit received. Quotes are valid for 72 hours from issue date.
Stages of Reservation: Reservations can be completed in 3 stages:
- Stage 1 - Reservation - Complete the flight or hotel preferences to find availability
- Stage 2 - Client Information Entry - Enter passenger information
- Stage 3 - Payment - Enter payment information to complete booking and Confirm
Customer Right fo Aborting A Reservation - Customers have the right to abort a reservation anytime before pressing the 'Booking Reservation' button in the final stage of the reservation
Archiving and Access: Reservations created can be accessed using the itinerary number given by our system during the booking process and the email address given by the customer. Each purchase is considered separate and customers can access each one separately by visiting the itinerary page. If customers wish to know all their past reservations they can contact Hungair Travel direct by phone or in person.
Correction of Errors: Clients have the ability to correct any errors they have made during the process of passing through the stages of reservation by using backspace button or by starting the process from the begging, having no obligation to us or the airline company or the hotel the booking is for. This applies only before the pressing of the 'Booking Reservation' button.
INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Prices DO Include:Accommodation, transfers, tours/cruises, car hire, government taxes and any other inclusions as specified in writing on the relevant web pages for each supplier’s product.
Prices DO NOT Include:Any costs incurred en route to and from the destination, meals (unless specified), alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, items of a personal nature, and personal services not specified as being included in costs on the relevant web pages for each suppliers product. Rates do not include Marine Park taxes, as this must be paid direct to the operators.
SITE COPYRIGHT
The copyright on all original/custom artwork, maps, navigation elements, presentation methods and design elements included in our web sites is held exclusively by Hungair Travel. Copyright on all descriptive text is held by Hungair Travel. Copyright on selected photographic images is also held by Hungair Travel.
Photographic images are reproduced with the permission of Hungair Travel and the product and/or service providers represented on the web site, or as shown where necessary to satisfy the copyright obligations associated with their electronic reproduction.
Where joint copyright is held over proprietary text or images, Hungair Travel reserves the right to pursue all copyright infringements on behalf of the primary copyright holder. Where the copyright for a photographic image is held exclusively by a third party under licence, Hungair Travel reserves the right to vigorously protect the copyright of those images on behalf of the third party.
All HTML files used in the Hungair Travel web site are declared to be proprietary software product developed for use by Hungair Travel only, and as such are subject to international intellectual property conventions.
All custom graphics used are declared to be works of art created for use by Hungair Travel only, and as such are subject to international intellectual property conventions. Image files, HTML documents, and text files are not to be relocated to another server, or duplicated for commercial purposes without the express written permission of Hungair Travel.
